Clifford L. Gilbert, 90 of Sinclairville, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023 at home. Born May 16, 1932 in Stockton a son of the late Elmer and Della Silliman Gilbert. Cliff was a heavy haul truck driver, moving equipment for Benchley Construction, as well as dump truck driver for various companies, until his retirement in 1995. He was a member of the Teamsters Union. Husband of 56 years to the late Luella McCann Gilbert who he married July 26, 1952 and who passed away June 4, 2008; father of, Debora (Robert) Gilbert-Carpenter and Dennis (Kathy) all of Kennedy, Claudia and Christopher (Jan) all of AZ, Daniel (Pam Myers) Gilbert of Sinclairville; grandfather of, John and Karen Gilbert-Thomas of AZ, Mark (Brooke) Gilbert of Panama, Michael (Shannon) Carpenter of Falconer, Sarah (Mike) Szczodrowski of Charlotte, NC, Kristina, Charles (Karissa) Dennis (Allison), Adam (Kayla) Gilbert all of Kennedy; great-grandfather of 16; brother of the late Donald and Harold Gilbert. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Visitation Saturday 11 a.m. with funeral service commencing at 1p.m. in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville. Burial in Cassadaga Cemetery.
